Terms and Condtitions
Renting requirements
Renter must be at least 21 years of age, must have valid personal documents – passport and driver license, with driving practice of minimum 1 year. The rented car can be driven only by the persons submitted on and authorized by the Rental Contract. In certain occasions we can make an exception for a driver below 20 years of age however we need to be informed beforehand.
Additional Driver
We do not charge extra for second driver, but we require that you inform us beforehand if there will be an additional driver, so we can put them on the rental contract.
Delivery and Collection
Our vehicles can be picked up from our SKY Rent a Car office in Skopje or they can be delivered to Skopje International Airport and any other place in or near Skopje. If you wish then the car can also be Picked up/Dropped off anywhere within our country or the nearest Balkan countries however we need to be informed beforehand and an additional Pick up/Collection fee will apply.
Payment
We do not demand an early payment or a deposit. The payment is made upon arrival either by Cash or a Credit card and it can be made in any foreign currency.
Cancellation Policy
We offer you a free cancellation up to 48 hours of your booking. If the cancellation is made after that period then a fee will apply.
Fuel
The fuel consumption is paid by the renter and needs to be returned with the same amount of fuel as when rented.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than when rented, then the customer is charged for refilling the same amount.
Insurance
With all of our vehicles comes a Basic Insurance Package up to 500 Euro Excess (free of charge), which means that if an accident occurs then you are only responsible for up to 500 euro of the damage. Anything above that is covered by our company.
Our rental company also offers these additional insurance packages:
- MEDIUM Insurance Package with 250 Euro excess for 7.5 euro per day
- FULL Insurance Package with 0 Euro Excess for 15 euro per day
Technical Problems
The cars available for renting are well maintained and kept in very good technical condition. However technical problem may appear. In case of technical problem, the client has to contact us on the telephone numbers that are provided. If the problem is minor then we may ask you to bring it to the nearest car repair store to fix the problem. At the end of the renting period, the renter has the show us an invoice or a bill from the repair store and will issue a full refund for the same amount spent there. If the technical problem is a bigger one then we will immediately replace the vehicle with a new similar one and take the broken vehicle back from your location.
In case of an accident
The first thing you need to do in case of an accident is to immediately call us on the numbers written on the Rental Contract. Then call the Police (Tel: +389 2 192) and ask them to come and make evidence protocol.
